 From the 1940s it became one of the symbols of American black music.Today, the Apollo which presents concerts, performing arts,

education and community outreach programs

This mural is bright and colorful, she pay tribute to Dizzie Gillespie. She was peinted For the celebration of the musician’s 100th Anniversary. She is located in Harlem at 229 W 135th Street.

If you are fan of jazz you should go to "The National Jazz Museum in Harlem" . The museum is not big but the exposure is complete and she redrew the history of the most important figures of jazz. The museum also presents weekly exposures.
